Jen G: Snow White by Jenni James

Jenni does such a wonderful job of re-energizing the classic fairy tales. I always enjoy reading her books!

I loved the dynamic of multiple love stories. Raven is also such an amazing character that you don't always get to know in other versions.

Brooke H: Tying the Knot Review

I really felt like this book brought all of the stories of the Newport Ladies to a wonderful ending.

I am a person who loves happy endings, and this book made sure all of the ladies a happy ending. It tied all of the books together perfectly, and was a very enjoyable read.

Jen G: The Frozen Trail by Lisa Dayley

I just finished The Frozen Trail by Lisa Dayley.

It was good.  I love reading about the pioneers so I expected to enjoy it a little more than I did.  There wasn't anything original about it from all the other pioneer books that are out there.  But still a nice quick read.

Jen G: Chances Are by Traci Hunter Abramson

Chances Are is such a great book! I have read it several times and loved it again! I have read all of Abramson's books and loved each.

This is a fun change of pace from her other action books but this still has enough to it to keep you turning the pages. And I loved the characters. I wonder if she will revisit any of these characters in future books.

Jen G: Mansfield Ranch Review

I just finished Mansfield Park. I loved it! I read it in a day and a half.

Jenni James is an amazing author with such a neat personal story that I love supporting her by reading her books.

This book was fun and one of my favorites by her.

Brook H: The Lost Art Review

The Lost Art was a fun read with twists that I never expected. I love it when an author takes me by surprise, and I actually gasped out loud at one point.

Ava is an art curator for a museum that is having a special showing for some priceless art. One of them is stolen under her watch, and we get a little mystery with our clean, fun romance.

It was a fun book, a lighthearted read that took me away for a little while. Great writing and description, it made me picture things so perfectly.

Summer Book Trek 2014

Time to kick off the 2014 Summer Book Trek Reading Challenge hosted by New LDS Fiction.

It's fun and easy and there are lots and lots of prizes.

The minimum you need to do to enter is create a reading list post with one novel by an LDS author that you plan to read in July.

The maximum is reading multiple novels, reviewing them online, and talking about the challenge on social media.

This is the site right here ( is where readers who don't have a blog can participate. If that's you, you can email your info to me, I'll create your posts here, and then send you back the links to use in the Raflecopter form.

Happy Reading!
